We are always aware of the need for discretion and will tailor our service to the needs of the individual client.

Bergins do not incorporate Open Viewings in our sales process. We believe that appointment-only viewing provides the client with a level of security where we can assess the interest of a party beforehand, noting contact details etc. Similarly, viewers are afforded the opportunity to view a property in their own time, and without the interruption and crowding of other viewers. We have found that this method has been effective and appreciated by both viewers and vendors.

Bergins have built a solid reputation in Dublin, and countrywide for ensuring that each property is given the fullest attention and that all aspects of the client relationship are dealt with to the highest professional standards.

Denis K. Bergin F.I.A.V.I.

Denis's career in the Irish property industry began in Smith Griffin, in 1960, later as Osborne King and Megran. From here, in 1972 , he became a founding partner of Fitzgerald and Partners, overseeing their subsequent merger with Sherry and Sons. In 1984 he and Geraldine launched Bergins, as a bespoke Estate Agency, delivering a tailored and individual service to Denis's extensive client list. As a Fellow of the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute, Denis has over 45 years experience in the Irish Property market, much of this in both Residential and Commercial as well as Rural fields, both in Ireland and Internationally. His name is included on all of the main lending institution, authorised Valuers panels.

As our principal Commercial Negotiator, Denis deals with all Commercial Rent Reviews and Valuations. Denis also provides a wide ranging Property Consultancy service upon request. Denis currently holds the position of Company Secretary of the Irish Timber Growers Association, (ITGA) and works extensively in this area, providing both sales, and valuations services of forestry properties.

Upon her arrival in Ireland from Scotland in 1968 Geraldine joined Osborne King and Megran. Here, she not only built her experience of the Irish Property market, but also met Denis. They both set up Bergins in 1984 and she has continued to work on the sale, purchase and lease of many substantial private homes in Dublin and throughout Ireland. Achieving many record prices over the years, she is renowned for her discretion. Geraldine maintains a high standard of service and an extensive knowledge of the Irish Property Market.

Sara Bergin M.I.A.V.I

Sara has been a member of the team in Bergins since 1998, and in that time has overseen the sale and rental of many properties. Sara is committed to providing the highest quality of service and testimony from past sales and rentals confirms this standard. Sara has just completed her final year in the Bsc Property Studies, with the IAVI. With Sara on the Bergins team, our Residential sales section has expanded to cover the general suburban market in the Dublin area.

Nicola Bergin

Nicola has recently joined the family firm as Company Manager. With over 14 years in the Financial Services Sector, Nicola will be overseeing the general administration of Bergins, and will provide professional support to the other members of the firm.
