Denis K. Bergin FSCSI/FRICS/ MIPAV
Denis’s career in the Irish property industry began in Smith Griffin, in 1960, later at Osborne King and Megran. From here, in 1972, he became a founding partner of Fitzgerald and Partners, overseeing their subsequent merger with Sherry and Sons. In 1984 he and Geraldine, his wife and colleague in OKM, launched Bergins as a bespoke Estate Agency, delivering a tailored and individual service to Denis’s extensive client list. As a Fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, Denis has over 50 years of experience in the Irish Property market, much of this in both Residential and Commercial as well as Rural sectors, both in Ireland and Internationally. Denis provides a wide ranging Property Consultancy service upon request. He also holds the position of Company Secretary of the Irish Timber Growers Association, (ITGA) and works with his contacts in the industry to provide both sales and valuations services of forestry properties. Denis is also an elected member of the RDS Committee of Agriculture and Rural Affairs which aims to promote best practice and efficiency in farming to ensure farm household profitability and sustainability in Ireland.
Nicola Williams BA MIPAV
Nicola joined the family firm in 2005 as Managing Director. She works extensively in Sales and Lettings but with our founders, has expanded the company’s Acquisitions business, with an increasing number of clients. She has achieved a number of significant sales and rentals in many of Dublin’s most desirable locations, both on market and off. Nicola has overseen an expansion of the company in the last number of years, recruiting a team to compliment the family dynamic and ensuring that Bergins continue to meet and exceed their existing reputation. With over 14 years in the Financial Services Sector, Nicola manages the general administration of Bergins, in addition to her roles in Residential Sales and Lettings.
Sara Bergin MIPAV. Bsc Property Studies
Sara Bergin is a Director and family member of the Bergins team. Having worked with the company since 1998, she has overseen the sale and rental of many properties in that time. She has responsibility for managing and overseeing property refurbishments, and preparations for Lettings/Sales. Sara is committed to providing the highest quality of service and testimony from past sales and rentals confirms this standard. With Sara’s lead and input, our Residential Sales section has expanded to cover the general suburban market of the Dublin area.
Alex Carey MIPAV. Bsc Property Studies
Alex joined Bergins in 2015 as one of our Residential Lettings Negotiators. Since then she has gained invaluable knowledge of all aspects of the property industry including Residential sales, Residential lettings and Property management and is now an integral part of the Sales and Lettings team. A graduate with honours, of the BSC in Business in Real Estate, Valuations, Sales and Management, Alex also has extensive knowledge of the Dublin area and can provide you with up-to-date legal and regulatory guidance on the ever changing residential lettings sector.
Gemma is our front of house receptionist and joined our team in 2019. She works closely with all agents to ensure clients receive the highest quality of service and is an administrative support to the rest of the team. She plays a vital part in the smooth running of our busy office and dealing with our large management portfolio.
Vania joined the company in early 2019 as office administrator. With her approachable manner, she is confident in her role and key to supporting the team in a busy office while also overseeing the maintenance and property management side of Bergins. She has the capacity to communicate effectively with her colleagues, the clients and tenants she assists on a daily basis to ensure the highest quality of service and satisfaction
Siobhan joined Bergins in 1984, assisting in the very early set up of the company with our founders, Denis and Geraldine Bergin. She has been an invaluable member of the Bergins team since that time. Siobhan is Senior Accounts Manager with responsibility for the administration of our significant Letting, Management, Sales and Acquisitions portfolio and simultaneously, also the general financial administrator of the company. Siobhan is an expert in cost control and company administration, along with managing our busy office and team. Her attention to detail and professionalism are why she is an invaluable and key member of Bergins.
